About loading (used cars, used trucks, used heavy machines)
To export used cars by RO-RO ship (very light like ferry specialized only for vehicles) is possible. However, depending on the country’s circumstances to receive exports (port infrastructure or theft and so on), there is increasing demand for export by overseas container ship. There are two types of overseas container ship: 40 feet-HQ (length 12m, height 260cm) and 20 feet (length 6m, height 240cm). The 40-feet HQ is now the main method of shipment. Various types of vehicle are loaded into containers. For example, in case of Toyota Vitz, 6 can be loaded, but in case of different shapes such as trucks, heavy machines and microbuses, our company will plan the best combination for safe loading. The maximum load of one container is 30 tons. Loading a container requires high skill and know how. Our company has never, since its foundation, experienced a situation where loads shifted or cars fell due to special high strength belts. We export all over the world. Japanese manufacturing skill is world renowned among Asia countries such as Thailand, Myanmar, Indonesia, UAE, Africa, South America, Mongolia and Kyrgyzstan.
Export agency
Annually nearly 1 million used cars are exported to the world from Japan. For that reason, various foreign importing brokers ask our company for export representation in Japan.
- Our company makes successful bids on vehicles that meet the customer’s request from used car auctions locations at more than 80 places in Japan.
- Conveyance of the vehicles from the auction locations in Japan to our company.
- Change the car inspection certificate of purchased cars from export cancellation at the land transportation office.
- Booking with the shipping company.
- Request containers.
- Vehicle loading into container.
- Document preparation for export.
- Customs procedures.
This is a simple explanation, but the flow of business above is necessary to export used vehicles. Our company is an auction member at more than 80 places in Japan, so it’s possible to purchase used cars to match the customer’s needs. We have ties with business partners in Japan for land shipping, so results are swift. Our company is equipped with an 18,000 square meters stock yard for vehicles, and currently about 1,500 vehicles can be kept in that yard.

- Vehicle order from foreign import broker
- Purchase of ordered vehicles at auction in Japan
- Payment of purchased at auction (payment within 3 days after successful bid)
- After completion of payment, conveyance of vehicles (conveyance request to transport company throughout Japan) from the auction to our company
- Within a week, temporary cancellation certificate for the purchased vehicles will be mailed to our company from the auction house.
- After temporary certificate arrives, it will be changed to export cancellation certificate at the Aichi Prefecture transportation office.
- As soon as the change to the export cancellation certificate is completed, booking will be reserved with the shipping company. (In booking we must declare what to send, when to send, which country to send to, which port to send to and who is sending to whom.)
- After booking, two days before the shipping schedule, we will ask the land transport company specializing in marine containers to send empty ones to our company from the port.
- After the empty marine containers arrive at our company, we carefully load the declared goods (used vehicles).
- After loading is completed, we request the transport specializing in marine containers to convey them from our company to the port.
- The loaded contents (loading diagram, loading pictures, container delivery list and stone print) is mailed or faxed to the customs agency and shipping company.
- After report on completion by customs, a bill of lading (B/L) will be issued by the shipping company.
- After issuance of the B/L, bills (car prices and land transport fee, shipping fee and customs fee and so on) will be issued to the foreign import brokers.
- After verifying submission of money from the foreign import broker, we will mail the B/L and complete the export.
